Sep 2014 , Iraqi Post Office (IPO) Riposte System (international system) for post office services full implementation including ( Software , Hardware , troubleshooting & maintenance ) in all Iraq provinces for 75 Iraqi post offices located from North to South Iraq.
On 12th November 2014, H.E. the Minister for Communications, Mr Hasan Al Rashed, met representatives of RiTS, an Iraqi company specialising in the post and money saving industry. The meeting included a presentation by RiTS on the Postal Counters Automation project it is undertaking for the Iraqi Post organisation.
RiTS also presented a future vision backed by a strategy for developing modern postal services. The company expressed interest in developing a partnership with Iraqi Post to help it multiply its income from services and to allow Iraqi businesses to take advantage of its newly acquired infrastructure.
On his part, H.E. minister Al Rashed indicated the Ministry of Communications is planning to develop and improve all its operating companies and directorates in order to attain its vision of serving citizens with a bunch of diversified and quality services. He further articulated a wish to collaborate or partner with specialist companies capable of helping the ministry achieve this vision in general and for the Iraqi Post Office in particular. The meeting agreed a follow-up event whereby RiTS gives a presentation to the ministry on its vision.
